Jungle
Emma Louise
WE SAY
We were instantly enthralled by Queensland's 20-year-old songstress Emma Louise, and with her first UK tour on the radar we had to have her on our Great Escape showcase. Jungle is an instant classic, and it's already seen her win three QMA's back home including 'Song of the Year' and a JIMA for 'Best New Artist', which followed syncs on Grey's Anatomy, Revenge and MTV Awkward. Her debut EP spent 26 weeks on top of the AIR Indie charts helping her sell out a national tour in Australia. 2012 has kicked off with a bang, with Emma completing her first US tour, including appearances at SXSW and signing deals for continental Europe with B1M1/Universal Germany, and Frenchkiss in the US. With Emma now putting the finishing touches on her debut album the UK is the last major territory available for records, which is now looking hotly contested. Video.
