It Gets Cold
Eliza & The Bear
WE SAY
Anyone tempted to suggest the world has had its fill of rousing indie folk probably hasn't heard Eliza & The Bear. Those that have seem to be falling for their exuberant, chunky-knit anthems and infectious, shout-along choruses in ever-increasing numbers. The unsigned London five piece played to a full room at the Garage last night, following a sold-out debut at St Pancras Old Church and a Borderline show that sold out eight weeks in advance. This in addition to a summer of festivals and a support slot on Paramore's autumn arena tour. Previous single Friends picked up fans at Xfm and Radio 1 including a Next Hype from Zane Lowe, who recently made today's featured track It Gets Cold a Hottest Record in the World. One of Amazing Radio's Tips for 2014, Eliza & The Bear have just announced that they will co-headline Communion's forthcoming New Faces Tour with BBC Sound Of nominee and RotD favourite Luke Sital-Singh.
