Missing Out
Elektralux
WE SAY
We first featured Electralux, a Bath-based group, when they were unsigned in 2007 with the excellent Fast Lane. That track offered an updated 80's electro sound and now seems ahead of it's time, given the revival of that sound in the charts in the last 18 months or so. Missing Out is their debut single on Naim Edge and another which we picked out as having potential at the time. Production from Steve Osborne (The Happy Mondays, New Order and much more), adds a further edge to proceedings. A broken beat remix from young producer Slugabed completes the package. JF. Video. London gig: July 17, 333 Mother Bar, EC1
