Led by singer and producer Wekaforé, Egosex are an Afro-electronic ensemble from Barcelona. Last week, they dropped their second EP, '15 Minutes of Fame', an exploration into the heart of modern society's narcissistic obsession with recognition. With its bold fusion of trance, jungle, gospel, Afrobeats and jazz elements, the EP is a fascinating listen. From the heady vibe of ‘Can You Make Feel’ to the frenetic feel of ‘Yes, We Are In Love’, there is something for everyone. But for us, ‘Not Enough Satisfaction’ with its infectious rhythms interspersed with soft sax melodies and vocal harmonies is the standout track. A compelling and evocative listen.
