WE SAY
There was no escaping the energetic Vampires by Dukes in their homeland New Zealand. The punchy pop hooks and classic rock vibes of the track earned it over a year in the NZ airplay charts, delivered a Top 10 single, a Video of the Year at the Juice Awards and a Breakthrough Artist of 2010 award from MySpace. Their album Still Life was named Best Independent Rock Album in Aus/NZ on iTunes for 2010. The name of the track alone lends its to sync action, but the swagger of the material we've heard from them so far suggests an export-ready band. Managed by ex-pat Lorraine Barry, the former Director of International Marketing at Virgin UK, Dukes are available to license in various territories ex-Aus/NZ. Video.
