Need U (100%)
Duke Dumont feat. A*M*E
Blasé Boys Club/Ministry of Sound
WE SAY
Featuring two of 2013's hottest new talents, Need U (100%) is a no-brainer. Having spent 2012 cementing his reputation as the 'producer's producer', Duke Dumont now teams up with 18-year-old A*M*E, herself fresh from being tipped in the BBC's Sound of 2013 poll. With a nod and a wink to Inner City's Good Life, Need U (100%) blends classic, early-nineties house stabs with a chunky, 21st-century low end, layering on A*M*E's silky vocal for a radio-ready rush of lush. Radio support is coming in thick and fast from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Zane Lowe, Toddla T, Trevor Nelson and Mistajam, with a Radio 1 Breakfast Show record of the week now added to the growing list. The challenge, if there is one, will be containing the momentum.
