WE SAY
Dan Stein aka DJ Fresh looks certain to cement his status as a crossover drum 'n' bass and dubstep artist with this next single, assisted by vocals from Kosheen’s Sian Evans. Louder follows his recent highlights which include the single Lassitude (B list at Radio 1 and RotD in November), his Future Jungle EP, and remixes for Katy B among others. His Top 30 hit from the end of last summer, Gold Dust, went from underground anthem to selling 200,000 copies, gained widespread specialist and daytime radio support and racked up YouTube views of over 7m and counting. You'll hear Louder over the summer as the soundtrack to the new Lucozade Sport Lite ad campaign. It was added to Capital C-list eight weeks upfront and early Radio 1 support comes from Zane Lowe and Mistajam. It's No.1 on Shazam's Pre-Release chart, remixes went to No.1 on The Hype Machine and momentum on iTunes pre orders predict a big summer hit.
