Dibby Dibby Sound
DJ Fresh vs Jay Fay ft Ms Dynamite
WE SAY
Lord knows it's about time the UK had a moombahton number one, and having scored the first ever dubstep and drum 'n' bass chart-toppers with Louder and Hot Right Now respectively, DJ Fresh might just be the man to do it. Moombahton aficionados will immediately recognise the work of rising St. Louis producer Jay Fay, whose Dibby Dibby forms the backbone of this track, now carnivalised by His Freshness who, not content with notching up the filth on 2013's dirtiest bassline, drafts in Ms Dynamite for a little extra stank. Premiered by Zane Lowe as a Hottest Record in October, Dibby Dibby Sound is already on the playlist at Radio 1, Kiss, Capital and Capital Xtra, where he joins Westwood and Avicii as presenting talent with his Future of Dance show. The video, now approaching 300k views in a little over two weeks, has been added across the board at MTV and elsewhere. Recently signed to Columbia in the US, home of successful British exports such as Adele, One Direction and Calvin Harris, DJ Fresh's sound - Dibby Dibby or otherwise - looks set to go global.
