Taken from the recent DJ Fresh album Kryptonite, this collaboration from DJ Fresh and Sigma comes out on Adam F's BBK label. DJ Fresh's last single Gold Dust was a Top 30 hit back in August, and this can be added to Breakbeat Kaos' fine track record for bringing drum and bass artists and tracks to wider audiences. Newly added to the In New Music We Trust playlist on Radio 1, supporters for Lassitude include Zane Lowe, Mistajam, Annie Mac, Huw Stephens and Sara Cox (Record Of The Week). Other enthusiasm has been shown by Eddy Temple-Morris, Galaxy and Choice. Remixes from Mt. Eden and Jakwob satisfy dubstep leanings, while the electro house mix from Hot Pink Delorean is worth a listen too. The video features feats of freerunning which suit the style as well as the pace of the track.
