WE SAY
It's quite an achievement for an unsigned act to get a key sync in a TV show. Even more of a big deal when it's the series finale of E4's biggest hit Made In Chelsea. But that's exactly what's already happened for London-based quartet Dios Mio. Comprising of friends Helena, Julian, Karl & Chris, the band formed last summer, placed a handful of their songs up on Soundcloud and then pretty much locked themselves in a Soho basement at the start of this year, determined to nail their live sound. Plaudits and support so far have also included key tastemakers like Jen & Ally at Radio 1, NME, The Line Of Best Fit, Amazing Radio and Xfm, where it was Danielle Perry's Record Of The Week and has been added to the evening playlist. See what all the fuss is about on Friday July 4 when the band play London venue The Old Blue Last in Shoreditch to launch the single, or at the Festibelly festival, deep in the heart of the New Forest on July 12. Shimmering and delicate whilst managing to deliver an exquisitely aimed punch too, this is a great debut release.
