Yeah Right (ft. Diggy Simmons)

Dionne Bromfield

Lioness/ Island

WE SAY

Taken from Dionne Bromfield's second album, Yeah Right sets the scene for a strong return for the 15 year-old. The guest on this is another 15 year-old protégé, Diggy Simmons, the son of Run DMC's Reverend Run. With Yeah Right, written by Eg White and produced by Paul O'Duffy (who worked on Back To Black), Bromfield is poised to make an impression with tracks which fit right in with the contemporary British pop-soul smashes of recent times (namely Plan B and Paloma Faith). It's on the BBC 1Xtra A-list now. An album, Good For The Soul, drops later this year. Video.
