Delorentos
WE SAY
This four-piece from Dublin have been a fixture on the Irish scene for a few years now. Winners of Best Student Artist in both the UK and Irish Student Music Awards last year, Delorentos have recently received great exposure through a recent performance on RTE TV's great music show, Other Voices. This track is from their first EP, a former Hotpress single of the fortnight, was produced by Marc Carolan (The Thrills, Muse) and released in Ireland in October to great acclaim. They make beautiful, brash and fresh sounding punk-tinted music with big-league gravitas, we like it a lot. JF Tipped By: Jim Carroll, Irish Times London Gig: 4 April, Club Fandango at Dublin Castle, on stage 8.15pm
