WE SAY

Southampton's Delays are back with a brave and fresh sound. The Donna Summer-esque synth-driven sound opening Valentine really hits the spot, but it is Greg Gilbert's uninhibited falsetto vocal that marks this as a great comeback song. This is getting positive early support from MTV2 and VH2 – deservedly so, we say. London gig: Xfm's Crossover night at Ministry Of Sound on Friday January 27 ahead of a full UK tour in February.
