WE SAY
This hypnotic and dreamy dose of expansive electronic music is from the Australian outfit D.E.L. Originally spawned by multi-media artist and music writer/producer Timm de la Hoyde, D.E.L has evolved into a force of creative energy that combines the talents and artistry of brothers Timm, Nick and Joseph de la Hoyde. With its waltzy, lullaby-esque opening acting as a recurring motif throughout, Bloom is a gorgeous affair with echoes of Porter Robinson, Dillon Frances and the Chainsmokers. It has already caught the attention of Triple J radio in Australia, and we reckon it is deserving of more attention here in the UK and would be the perfect addition to dreamy/late night contextual electronic playlists. Previous streaming support has come from Spotify (NMF, R&B Feels, Mellow Styles, Night Shift) and Apple Music (Today’s Chill). Aside from writing and releasing their own music, D.E.L is also actively writing and producing for other projects and have worked with artists from Sony Music, Sony ATV, Universal Music, Warner Music and City Pop. A new talented trio of brothers to keep an eye on.
