Decimate
David Ford
WE SAY
This is the next single from David Ford's second studio album Songs For the Road. Possibly only David Ford can get away with blending an upbeat Motown vibe with a lyric as crushing as the sublime "You decimate my inhibitions/ I can't be saved/ Let's take a walk out on the broken glass". And it's why we like him so much - the bright punchy production on this is spot on too. The album has already been building nicely on download-only before the physical release next month, topping iTunes folk charts and charting highly on 7Digital. Ford prepares for a nationwide tour next month, and this has been added to R2 playlist. JF London gigs: October 27 Shepherds Bush Empire, W12
