Hearts & Bones
Daniel Rachel
WE SAY
Midlands-born singer songwriter Daniel Rachel has self-released his second album A Taste Of Money to great reviews from the likes of Word and Classic Rock. It features guest appearances from The Kate Rusby Band and Ocean Colour Scene's Simon Fowler among others. He has continued to build impressive grass roots following around the UK, having previously played support to Billy Bragg, Nizlopi and Thea Gilmore. This is melodic and honest songwriting of the highest quality - his influences are quite evident from the eclectic sound on the album, we hear everyone from Billy Bragg to Buddy Holly. Mojo said his songs were "a core of affectingly honest material and highly hummable" - we agree. Daniel is available for licensing and publishing worldwide. JF
