Just War (ft. Gruff Rhys)
Danger Mouse & Sparklehorse
WE SAY
Dark Night Of The Soul is the beautiful collaborative project from Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse (with visuals from David Lynch), which began to surface last year to early critical acclaim. Having resolved the issues which previously caused the release to be delayed, it will finally be made officially available on Parlophone next month. The heavyweight cast on the record includes The Flaming Lips, Julian Casablancas, Black Francis, Suzanne Vega, Iggy Pop, and here a fine psych-country turn by Gruff Rhys. A project of excellent collaborations which stands up as a fitting tribute to Mark Linkous (Sparklehorse) and guest contributor Vic Chestnut, both of whom have sadly passed away in recent months.
