Damien Rice

14th Floor

WE SAY

We're proud to say that Damien was the recipient of our first ever Record of the Week. Shortly afterwards, he became the first signing to Christian Tattersfield's new 14th Floor imprint. Now he has a UK hit album, thanks to the massive word-of-mouth you'd expect from an album this good, a smattering of radio from the likes of Jo Whiley and a couple of brilliant, limited run TV ads. Next comes his debut single proper, with a remix by Mark 'Spike' Stent making it Damien's most radio friendly track to date. A forthcoming Radio 2 Record of the Week and surely a future Radio 1 A list track too.
