Back in the summer of 2020, we introduced you to Irish artist Daire Patel and his hip-hop-infused blend of lo-fi bedroom pop on the hypnotic ‘Hold Me Down’. Since then, he has dropped his debut EP ‘Pretty Sweet’, featured across multiple Spotify editorial playlists (inc. NMF, R&B UK, Surface) and received plays on RTE 2FM and BBC Introducing. Inspired by Bakar and Dominic Fike, Daire is back with this summery, acoustic guitar-led indie R&B track as part of a series of singles to mark the summer and autumn of 2023. Co-written and produced by Interstllr (Jafarius, Soule), ‘Alone With You’ is featured on Spotify UK’s New Music Friday playlist and effortlessly captures those final summer evenings. With further praise across Irish blogs and radio, expect to hear this jam on chillout editorial playlists at DSPs and perhaps even Radio 1 specialist shows. A gorgeous, hazy jam to soundtrack the last of these summer evenings. For fans of Mac Miller and Frank Ocean.
