Text Me Back
Daine Angel ft. Theo Altieri
WE SAY
15-year-old musical wizard Theo Altieri wrote and produced Text Me Back around fellow Swindon artist Daine Angel's rap. Theo's song If Only We Knew was not only RotD but made it as our Record of the Week in August 2011. The young writer went on to be named best unsigned male artist by Amazing Radio in February and pick up radio support from Tom Robinson on 6Music, before featuring on Radio 1's April documentary "How young is too young to be a pop star". Theo and Daine both played (separately) the BBC Introducing stage at Wychwood Festival on Saturday drawing the biggest crowds of the day. Discussions with leading independent labels to release an EP towards the end of summer are ongoing and there is a team already in place but as yet Theo remains unsigned for records and publishing.
