Crystal Fighters are back with this first single from their third album Everything Is My Family, which is out tomorrow (October 21). And it’s proving to be something of a mainstream breakthrough for the group, whose loyal following and reputation has grown and grown with each passing year. Their music has been synced in some of the coolest TV shows, films, commercials and video games since their debut at the start of this decade. Now this unapologetically feel-good song is taking them to new heights, thanks to its global-embracing vibe, complete with tribal chants and instrumentation that is wholly impossible to resist. It currently sits neatly on Radio 1’s B List, was recently Annie Mac’s Tune Of The Week, has been streamed more than two million times on Spotify, and reached the Top 15 on Shazam’s Future Hits chart. Next comes a Live Lounge session on October 27 and a sold out show at Brixton Academy on November 11 as part of their five date UK tour. As autumn kicks in with a vengeance, this musical splash of sunshine can’t fail to enrich your day. A total triumph.
