Dane Rumble (formerly of New Zealand hip-hop outfit Fast Crew) was recently nominated for six NZ Music Awards, winning Best Male Solo Artist. Signed to the Ministry of Sound in Australia, he has sold 200,000 albums in his territory so far. Rumble's debut solo album, The Experiment debuted at No1 in the New Zealand Albums Chart when it came out last year. This was his third consecutive top 20 single in New Zealand. He's unsigned over here for now, but an upcoming London showcase and the UK release of Cruel in June should pique interest further. Video.
