Craig Johnston
WE SAY
When we featured the brilliant Made Of Stone from Scottish-born singer songwriter Craig Johnston we wrote that it "Reminded us of the first time we heard Coldplay… the song writing is truly exceptional". Since that feature, Craig has signed a publishing deal and worked with producer Mike Nielsen (Jamiroquai, Underworld, Tom Baxter). A debut EP, with this as a lead track, is to be released. He is an artist of the week on 7Digital's successful Indiestore, where he currently tops their chart. We hear traces of Will Young in the vocal, but there’s nothing derivative about the delivery and the songwriting remains some of the sharpest we've heard in this genre.
