Crazy Screwed Up Lady
Cosmo Jarvis
WE SAY
With this track entering the CMJ Top 200 last week, Wall Of Sound signing Cosmo Jarvis is making good inroads on US college radio, hitting the Top 30 at 14 stations. Over here, a positive reaction for his recently-released debut double album Humasyouhitch/Sonofabitch started the ball rolling for the Devon-based artist. Daily Telegraph's Neil McCormick called it a 'a bold intriguing mess that suggests he has an exciting future'. Early radio plays from Annie Mac and Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 as well as Mark Radcliffe on Radio 2 come before he plays SXSW and plays guest support on Sunshine Underground's UK tour. This track strikes a balance between his light and heavy output with promising skill. JF London gig: February 11, HMV Next Big Thing, Upstairs At The Garage N5
