Every Year So Different
Cornershop
WE SAY
With Christmas just around the corner, the prolific and highly underrated Cornershop have provided us with an alternative fix of holiday cheer. Every Year So Different premiered on The Quietus, has been pushed by Irish music magazine Hot Press to be the Xmas No.1, the accompanying video directed by Passion Pictures’ Chris Curtis was premiered on Noisey in November. Radio will no doubt grow as we near the 25th, with early support already in from Amazing Radio, 6 Music, BBC Wales and Radio 2. Released on their own label, Every Year So Different is a strong reminder that Cornershop are more than a one hit wonder.
