Cordelia
I'm Sorry

AWAL Recordings

WE SAY

With its rich blend of acoustic guitars and soaring vocal harmonies, ‘I’m Sorry’ is the latest release from London-based songwriter and multi-instrumental musician Cordelia. Having been described by the NME as a “bonafide internet phenomenon” after her gorgeous breakout and RotD-featured track ‘Little Life’ amassed over 10bn views on TikTok (over 1.1m creations) and racked up over 90 plays on Radio 1, the 27-year-old artist now reflects on the ebb and flow of a years-old friendship. Released today (13 June), this ethereal and warm ode again shows her natural flair for making personal anecdotes feel like a shared experience. Deserving of support at DSPs and plays at Radio 1 and 2, ‘I’m Sorry’ is a welcome addition to her burgeoning catalogue that has seen tastemaker support from the likes of Time Magazine, Rolling Stone, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Stephen Colbert, who invited her to perform on his Late Show (watch here). Earlier this month, she played a series of sold-out shows at the Forge in London and a show in her hometown of Stroud. Quite simply, brilliant.
