BLOODSUCKA (ft. Debbie Gough)

Cody Frost

Truth Music Group/RCA

WE SAY

Today’s Ones To Watch 2025 is Burnley-born musician, illustrator and tattoo artist Cody Frost. One of the fast-rising stars in the alternative scene, they have made a name for themselves for their blending of punk, rock and hyperpop into their music and touching on topics of mental health, queerness and social issues. We first featured them in September with their first release, ‘PROCESS’ with RCA UK in collaboration with Truth Music Group. Since then, they have released their ‘ANATOMY’ EP, which includes the lead single 'BLOODSUCKA' with Debbie Gough of Heriot. It’s a ferocious and commanding single that garnered significant support at DSPs with playlist covers, social media support and Cody’s first solo billboard in Leicester Square. Their singles have received praise from Rocksound and Kerrang!, supported by BBC Introducing Rock (Track of the Week) and featured on editorial playlists at Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and Deezer. Alongside their own material, they have also collaborated with Enter Shikari (‘Bull’), You Me At Six (‘A Love Letter To Those Who Feel Lost’) and Bury Tomorrow (‘The Carcass King’). With their latest EP release, Cody Frost has made a statement of intent and with key tastemakers getting behind them, plus a growing legion of fans, we reckon 2025 will be a breakout year for Cody.
