Just in time for the imminent arrival of Miami Music Week, Claptone arrives with this absolute banger that looks set to be the soundtrack to Ibiza parties and the festival season too. Every year the mysterious Berlin-based producer seems to conjure up an anthem that cuts through at all the world’s coolest parties, like the incredible Liquid Spirit remix he delivered for jazz star Gregory Porter in 2015. This year, he remakes one of the most-influential dance tracks of all time by George Kranz, originally created in New York back in the early 80’s and a true catalyst to so many pioneers since then. All the key Radio 1 tastemakers in that world including Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Monki and Mistajam all jumped straight on board with plays for this so far this week, alongside CapitalXTRA and 6Music. Claptone is currently among the biggest selling artists on Beatport and sits at No.1 on the House chart. With more than 250 shows planned in 2017 including his infamous Masquerade events around the globe and Reading & Leeds later in the summer, this hypnotic tune will be inescapable.
