Thirst
City and Colour
WE SAY
Fresh from supporting Biffy Clyro on the UK leg of their March tour, City and Colour - better known to some as Dallas Green, former frontman of Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire - returns with a new album via Cooking Vinyl on June 3. Like its acclaimed 2011 predecessor, The Hurry And The Harm is produced by Alex Newport (At The Drive-In, Death Cab For Cutie, The Mars Volta), and we think first single Thirst - premiered by Zane Lowe as his Hottest Record earlier this month - is Green's best chance yet of following in Frank Turner's footsteps towards arena-filling success as a solo artist - he has already headlined the Royal Albert Hall and the Roundhouse on previous visits to the UK. A European tour beckons in June, including a sold-out London show at Bush Hall on June 3. Lyric video.
