Drenched in raw emotion, this cinematic show-stopper is from seasoned singer and songwriter Chris Linton. Having found massive success in the gaming world and his music used in 4m YouTube videos, the Plymouth-born artist boasts over 245 million Spotify streams and is now back with his first music of 2021. Released this week, Best Part is a deeply personal and emotive track, underpinned by sparse guitar strings, lush electronic textures and impassioned lyrics. It’s a beautiful track, perfect for emotional and mood-driven playlists. Chris will be dropping the accompanying video next Wednesday (2 June). With more music in the pipeline from recent writing collaborations with Sleepwlkrs, Louis Mattrs (G-Eazy, SG Lewis, Maisie Peters), Hayla (Example, Wilkinson), and an upcoming session with Gabrielle Aplin, Chris is set to have a very busy end to 2021.
