Chloe Rodgers
WE SAY
Every new track we hear from Chloe Rodgers always amazes us and leads us to wonder how much longer it’ll be before her big breakthrough to mainstream awareness. We’ve featured her twice before; firstly with the enchantingly expansive electronic ode Faces and earlier this year with the baroque pop goodness of The Algea. The Line of Best Fit, Under The Radar, Earmilk, Clash, Notion and Wonderland are among her many fans. Plus, Spotify have featured her tracks on editorial playlists too. Now back with this gorgeous tune, Chloe has shifted styles once again to a more easy listening, jazz-inspired direction, à la Etta James. It’s fantastic, filled with organic and groove-laden intention. Better View has picked up tastemaker support from the Independent, Beats Per Minute, 1883 Magazine, to name just a few, and with the video dropping later this week, more features are on the way. She is currently on a busking tour of the UK, with four of the eighteen city stops completed. Not bound by genre and fearlessly exploring her sound, Chloe Rodgers is, in our eyes, one of the most talented newcomers around and is a must-listen.
