Nice People

Chief

unsigned

WE SAY

Chief were one of our highlights at SXSW. They instantly caught our attention at their Austin show by opening with brilliant four part harmonies. There's a great simplicity in the New Yorkers' stripped down southern folk sound. For us it evoked everything from Tom Petty to Crosby, Stills and Nash, but in an updated package. Also worth checking out are Your Direction and Mighty Proud on their MySpace for a similar line in very well constructed songs. A band with great potential. Chief are available for management, records and publishing. JF
