There is something inherently beautiful about the quiet intensity of Australian singer-songwriter Charlz’s new single, Colors. From the opening vocal melody to the washed out sound and warm indie vibes, the song breathes with emotion in this superb M-Phazes (Eminem, Madonna, Lupe Fiasco) production. With its sun-filled and chill out vibes the song has been added to Apple (Best of the Week AU/NZ/JP, Future Sounds) and Spotify (Indie Mixtape, The Office Stereo) editorial playlists, as well as garnering radio support at Beats 1, KCRW and Triple J. Further online praise has come from the likes of Notion, Indie Shuffle, Ear Milk, C-Heads and Red Bull, who premiered her stunning new video on Monday. Having recently secured a new publishing deal with Kobalt after a four-year hiatus from the music industry, Charlz has since supported Khalid and collaborated with artists including Latriot, Maths Time Joy and ATTLAS.
