Speak To Me

Charlie Winston

Real World

WE SAY

Built up solely using his elastic vocal skills, Charlie Winston's Speak To Me provides an enticing incite into his forthcoming return. The creative songwriter's 2009 album - Hobo - received an incredible press reaction, with Q magazine declaring it “immaculately crafted” and The Guardian aptly noting it “a worthy contender for la petite sensation de 2010 in the UK”. It went on to become a No.1 album in Europe and Canada, with lead track Hobo listed in Q's Top 50 of the year. Album No.3 - Running Still (January 28) - doesn't disappoint. Full of ideas, craftsmanship and memorable songs, everyone will have their favourite. Alex Lester played Hello Alone from the new album on Radio 2 this week, coinciding with an exclusive video post of Speak To Me on The Telegraph as press and radio start to trickle in.
