Charlene Soraia

Charlene Soraia, a 19 year-old from South London releases her second EP, from which this is the title track. iTunes made the lead song from her first EP, Daffodils, a Single Of The Week back in April. That five-track EP performed well on the iTunes folk chart both here and in the US, as interest in this Brit school graduate continues to grow. She also played at the iTunes Festival at Air Studios in February. 'Postcards From iO' stood out on first listen as a gripping song - it also showcases some skillful guitar playing and Soraia's sharp voice. A third EP will follow in September, with more to follow towards the end of the year. Charlene Soraia is unsigned and unpublished at present. JF London gig: June 24, EP Launch at Water Rats WC1
