Bruises
Chairlift
WE SAY
Brooklyn outfit Chairlift's 'Bruises' currently features on the new iPod Nano worldwide ad campaign. It's the perfect launch platform for their sound which, although current and cool, references a plethora of 80's acts (see Paul Lester's article for a thorough run-through). Chairlift’s debut album 'Does You Inspire You' is set for release in the UK through Kanine Records on October 27 with 'Bruises' following as a single a month later. Other strong tracks, such as 'Evident Utensil' (which was featured on Popjustice a few weeks ago), also convince. JF
