WE SAY
We quickly fell in love with the vocal of London-based artist Celine Love when this beautiful track popped into our inbox here at RotD. She received tastemaker praise and support earlier this year for her debut EP Aquarius SZN from Radio 1, Spotify, Dummy, Stereofox, TUSH magazine and Enfnts Terribles to name just a few, and now follows it up with this dreamy and captivating listen. Released as a double single, along with No Longer Fun, the song draws on her acoustic roots and blends it with heartfelt R&B and pop elements. On Sunday, the track received its first radio play from Victoria Jane on Radio 1’s Future Soul show, but we reckon this won’t be the only spin on radio stations. A favourite on the London gig circuit, Celine will headline St Pancras Old Church on 19 August, and we recommend you should catch her live. For fans of Alessia Cara, Lianne La Havas and Ama Lou.
