When Jackie Shone
Cashier No. 9
WE SAY
Belfast band Cashier No. 9 release this as their second single, the follow-up to 42 West Avenue, which got plays on Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy, Janice Long and Rob Da Bank. Nemone on 6Music has also supported this track. Currently recording their debut album with David Holmes, the band has just played support to Snow Patrol on recent UK dates. When Jackie Shone sums up the band's promise; it's a confident, country-flavoured indie stomper. JF
