Good Times

Cara Hammond

Oswaldo

WE SAY

This gorgeous slice of downtempo soulful pop is from London-based singer-songwriter Cara Hammond. Written in Stockholm with upcoming Swedish writers Victoria Alkin, Louice Lindberg and Kerstin Ljungstroöm, the track is her first for 2019 and builds on the fine run of singles, including previous RotD track Try to Love You and How I Feel, both of which have won tastemaker support from Spotify (19 NMF) and Apple Music (8 Best of the Week), as well as spins on BBC Introducing and BBC London. With its minimal jazzy, electronic production and uplifting funk-led chorus, Good Times is the perfect radio-friendly tune for the upcoming summer months and those laidback upbeat contextual playlist. Having already played over 120 gigs, including a busy show last week at the Troubadour in London, Cara is currently looking for a live agent, as well as a publisher, and is now preparing herself for the festival season where she’ll play sets at Boomtown and Pennfest festivals.
