Your Anthem

Calum Bowie

Capitol/Polydor Label Group

WE SAY

We’ve been following Scottish singer-songwriter Calum Bowie ever since his anthemic ‘We Are The River’ caught our attention early last year. Since then, the 24-year-old has had a phenomenal rise, earning the title of Breakthrough Artist at the Scottish Music Awards, making his Glastonbury debut, selling out shows across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, and racking up over 7m global streams and 100m views on TikTok. The Aberdeenshire-born artist has also been championed by Radio 1’s Future Pop, Future Alternative and Future Artists shows, alongside strong editorial playlist support at Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Last week (21 March), Calum released his brilliant debut EP ‘Through The Window’ – a collection of rousing, heartfelt folk-led odes, including the fan favourite (and ours) ‘Your Anthem’. Like all great singer-songwriters, he has that rare gift for transforming personal anecdotes into intimate, shared experiences—something that has helped him cultivate a passionate fanbase, with audiences at his shows singing back every word. With his talent, charisma, and relentless drive, Calum Bowie is undoubtedly a star in the making.
