Watch That Girl (She’s Gonna Say It)

Caity Baser

Capitol Records UK/Chosen Music/Polydor Label Group

WE SAY

Big, bold and fearless, ‘Watch That Girl (She’s Gonna Say It)’ is the electrifying new single by RotD-favourite Caity Baser. Co-written and performed by Caity with acclaimed duo Oh Wonder, the track marks an exciting evolution for the BRIT Award-nominated artist, showcasing a more refined and sophisticated sound. With its big-band energy, the song bursts to life with a vibrant fusion of live guitars, piano, drums, horns, strings, organ, and a chanting choir - creating an expansive, dramatic experience. Beneath the rich instrumentation lies introspective lyricism, adding depth to the track’s bold sonic presence. Upon release, the track featured across numerous new release and editorial playlists on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, while also being crowned a ‘Future Bop’ on Radio 1’s Future Pop. Plus, tastemakers like MTV (Fresh Out/Spotlight), Dork, DIY, The Sun, and the Daily Star have all championed the single. To support the release, Caity will embark on a 10-date intimate UK and European piano show tour in April. Following the release of her ‘Still Learning’ mixtape last year, which peaked at #7 on the OCC album charts and helped her amass over 100m streams, Caity’s new single is a brilliant start to the next chapter of her musical career. We love it.
