Star 2 Fall

Cabin Crew

Data

WE SAY

When we featured the Sunset Strippers version of Waiting For A Star To Fall yesterday, we mentioned that Cabin Crew had a few advantages of their own in the race to become a hit. Namely, their regional radio plot was huge before this was signed or cleared, with playlists at EMAP Big City, Kiss, Galaxy, Vibe , and they tell us they've now got Capital as well. The Shazam pre-release chart is becoming one of the best indicators of future hits and has already had this at #3. Plus it was far and away the most talked about record at Midem. Ministry tell us it's the best plot they've had for a record this far upfront. Scott Mills is playing each record twice on Radio 1 this week, with the public to decide the 'winner' on Friday. As we said when reviewing Sunset Strippers, may the best record triumph!
