Last October, we introduced you to the soul-enriched sounds of vocalist and songwriter Titus Makin, aka Butterfly Ali, in the glorious, Pray For ‘Em. Having wowed tastemakers like Earmilk, Independent, Clash, and more, he is now back with this, his lead single from his debut EP, Preacher's Kid. Released last month, Testimony sees Ali showing his gospel influences in this powerful and energetic number. Rated RnB, Wordplay, Magnetic, Pop Matters and The Lowdown are just some of his new fans praising his latest offering. Watch the brilliantly flamboyant video here. Much like Donald Glover did with his Childish Gambino alter-ego, Titus Makin is revitalising classic soul and funk for the modern age as Butterfly Ali.
