We’ve been fans of London-based singer-songwriter Brooke Law’s blend of country, pop and rock since she dropped the moody Millionaires in 2021. Her ability to craft crossover country rock anthems has seen her pick up radio airplay from Absolute Country Radio, Chris Country Radio, BBC Scotland, and numerous spins on BBC regional radio, including London, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Alongside this, Brooke has amassed over 2m streams, been appointed an Epiphone Ambassador by Gibson Guitars and gained praise from Maverick magazine, Americana UK and W21. Released today (14 February), Busy on the Weekend is the first of three singles to be released over the next five months and marks a more edgy return. With its addictive percussive beat and infectious chorus, it’s a fierce and in your face number about feeling comfortable in your skin. Perfect for those Rock/Country themed editorial playlists at DSPs, but also deserving spins on national radio in specialist slots too. Having performed across London in 2022 and at the British Country Music Festival, next month will see her perform at the C2C festival in London for the first time. For fans of Alanis Morissette, Sheryl Crow and the Pretenders.
