Symmetry Of Two Hearts
Bright Light Bright Light
WE SAY
Bright Light Bright Light is the alias of Welsh independent artist Rod Thomas, who we saw perform the track All In The Name on BBC1’s Graham Norton Show a couple of months ago. He was joined on stage for that TV slot by Sir Elton John, who’s become his friend, mentor and touring partner. That song picked up a ton of airplay, most notably at Radio 2, and now the campaign kicks off for this second single from his album Choreography, which has already received glowing reviews from the likes of Record Collector (5-stars), Q, Mojo, The Guardian and OUT. They collaborate again on this charming retro-tinged slice of positive pure pop, which looks lyrically at the age-old dilemma of what makes two people fall in love. Rod recently completed a successful UK tour, including a show at Oslo in Hackney last week. He's performed at the legendary G.A.Y., was recently on the bill at Take That’s massive outdoor Hyde Park BST gig and more live dates are soon to be announced as the love for this album builds. In our world filled with so much darkness, his musical bright light is hugely welcoming.
