Bright Light Bright Light
WE SAY
Bright Light Bright Light is singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rod Thomas, who we've featured and written about previously on RotD. The euphoric electropop of Love Pt. II is the second release for new label Popjustice Hi-Fi and comes backed by Cry At Films, which features Scissor Sisters' Del Marquis on backing vocals and guitar. In both tracks on the release, the epic Disco Moment and previous free download A New Word To Say, there are some sublimely clever production moments and, as ever with Thomas, heartfelt and remarkable pop songwriting. This single lands just before he sets off to support Ellie Goulding on her UK tour in October and November.
