Drunk & Loud

Bloom Twins

This Fiction

WE SAY

Released today (10 August), ‘Drunk & Loud’ is the dark electro-tinged alt-pop offering from London-based Ukrainian duo Bloom Twins. Co-written with and produced by Sam Harris (X Ambassadors), this raucous and anthemic number, driven by a powerful, percussive beat, is an empowering message to not underestimate the underdog. Watch the video here. Having immigrated to the UK when they were 16, the identical twin sisters Sonya and Anna Kuprienko have made their mark on London’s music and fashion scenes. Previous releases, including the RotD featured ‘She’s Not Me’, have seen the duo pick up tastemaker support from Clash, Sunday Times, Guardian and MTV, to name just a few. While on the fashion side, the sisters have appeared in features for Vanity Fair, Hunger, Wonderland, Vogue, Numero, and iD, as well as campaigns for Armani A/X, Pandora, and Swarovski. With a record of utilising their platform to advocate for causes close to their hearts (mental health, freedom of expression), the duo have been helping to raise awareness about the war in Ukraine and have launched a fashion brand, Gussi, with profits going to help Ukraine through selected and trusted charities. All in all, ‘Drunk & Loud’ is an infectious, bold and empowering single deserving of your attention.
