Future Skies

Blakey

37 Adventures

WE SAY

It’s been just over three months since we featured the wonderfully ethereal and moving debut, Prism of Love feat. JONES from east London artist Blakey. The song featured in seven Spotify New Music Friday playlists (including the UK), clocked up over 2m combined streams, entered Spotify Viral Top 50 in eight different countries and garnered praise from the likes of Noisey, Notion, Hilly Dilly and Clash among others. Released today, Future Skies is his second offering from 37 Adventures and is a glorious indie-dance crossover gem. From its gentle piano-led instrumental and washed-out synths to the stripped-back bounce of the chorus, the track builds with a joyous warmth that combines tinges of Coldplay, Calvin Harris and the Chainsmokers in its production. Perfect for both radio airplay and summer chilled playlists, this is a refreshing and vivid sun bleached hit from a talented producer and singer-songwriter.
