Bitter:Sweet are LA-based electro-pop duo Shana Halligan and Kiran Shahani, who last year released their debut album through eclectic cult independent label Quango. The duo's visibility in the US has risen with recent synch activity - this song has appeared on Nip/Tuck and Grey's Anatomy and another showed up on the soundtrack for The Devil Wears Prada. A strategic partnership that tied in with the US launch of Microsoft Zune also helped raise their profile. This song fondly conjures up the trip-hop sound of Portishead or Morcheeba but also retains a very accessible Vegas vibe. Bitter:Sweet are currently available for international licensing, distribution, booking, and management. Bruno Guez is also available for meetings at Midem. JF
