Top of your hitlist for The Great Escape should be Bipolar Sunshine, who plays the NME Stage at the Corn Exchange on May 17. Building on the success of recent debut Fire, a former Hype Machine No 1 now approaching 80k plays on Soundcloud, former Kid British singer Adio Marchant follows up with Rivers, a blissed-out pop gem premiered by Zane Lowe and The Fader last week, with continued support from Xfm. Both tracks appear on the forthcoming Aesthetics EP out June 17, with launch shows at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen (June 20) and Manchester's Soup Kitchen (June 21). Bipolar Sunshine is currently unsigned for records and publishing, although this isn't expected to last for long; he is in talks with several majors and indies, with a few offers already on the table.
